Mission: To welcome newcomers to northern Rhode Island and to introduce them to their new community. The group also welcomes all who are interested in forming new friendship and sharing life-enriching experiences.

When starting out in a new community, it helps to have a spring board from which to build your new life. Newcomers & Neighbors of Northern Rhode Island (NNNRI) is just that! Come to a monthly meeting or any club activity and you’re sure to meet people with whom you have something in common.

Need to know the best dentist for kids?...how to find the nearest home improvement store?…. The best garden center?...the most romantic restaurant? With our wide variety of interests, chances are there’s someone in our group who can help you find those special places and suppliers that will make northern Rhode Island feel like home!

The NNNRI playgroup will give your kids a chance to know other kids who have experienced (and survived?) a move like theirs. Where’s the best preschool?...the best beach for kids?...a responsible babysitter? Someone in our group and their kids have done it before you and would love to give you a helping hand.

And, if you plan on job hunting once you are settled, people in NNNRI just might be your first link to the perfect position.

Best of all, whether it’s a planned, official event or a spontaneous outing, NNNRI members have fun together!
