When and where does the club meet?

NNNRI meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month (Sept thru June) at the Arnold Mills Community House in Cumberland at 7pm.

What can I expect at a monthly meeting?

Each month a different NNNRI activity hosts the meeting. The first half hour of the meeting is devoted to welcoming new people and discussing upcoming club activities. Once the club business is wrapped up, the host activity will begin (if possible). For example, if Scrapbooking is hosting the monthly meeting then the ladies will begin their scrapping after the business is discussed. Obviously, if Playgroup is hosting, playgroup will not be held at that time and an alternative activity will be scheduled. Refreshments are provided by the host activity members. The monthly meetings are generally attended by women, but all are welcome.

What activities does NNNRI offer?

Cards - Books - Crafts - Recipes and MORE! Some activities meet weekly, some monthly. . .from Playgroup on weekday mornings to Casual Gourmet on weekend nights . . . we have something for everyone.

Do I have to be a member to attend an activity?

No. You are welcome to attend two activities without membership.

How do I become a member of NNNRI?

You can join at any time; either at a monthly meeting or at one of the group activities throughout the year. Annual dues are $25.

Does NNNRI participate in any service projects?

YES! Project Snuggle is our community service project. Each year our group creates over 100 hand-decorated canvas bags filled with brand new baby layette items. These bags are donated to area hospitals who in turn present the bags to families in need. Each bag is filled with a sleeper, bib, onesie, sweater, hat, blanket, and often even more . . . many of the sweaters and blankets are hand knit or crocheted. Fund raising, tremendous bargain hunting, and beautiful hand-made donations make this project a heart warming success!
